Tato kniha, určená pro malé i velké čtenáře, se zabývá minulostí i současným životem Romů. Porota ocenila inkluzivní nápad vydat knihu dvojjazyčně – vyprávění je psáno romsky i česky, což může sehrát významnou společensky integrační úlohu. Knihu ilustrovala Klára Zahrádková, jejíž prosté kresby inspirují a uchvacují čtenářovu představivost. Text je vysázen velmi elegantním písmem Fern, které navrhl David Jonathan Ross a které připomíná tradici benátských fontů se sešikmenou příčkou u malého písmene „e“. V titulu byl použit font Roslindale, který je dílem téhož grafika.

This book, for both youth and adults, describes the past and present lives of Romani people. The jury appreciated the inclusive idea of publishing the book bilingually – the narrative is written in both Romani and Czech languages, which can play an important social integrative role. The book is illustrated by Klára Zahrádková, whose simple drawings inspire and captivate the reader’s imagination. The text is set in a very elegant typeface, Fern designed by David Jonathan Ross, reminiscent of the tradition of Venetian typefaces with a crossbar slanted in the lower-case letter “e”. The title font used is Roslindale, designed by the same typeface designer.
