Letošní výběr laureáta Ceny Vojtěcha Preissiga nebyl jednoduchý. Zástupci SČB se soustředili jak na soutěžní kategorii bibliofilie a autorské práce, tak i na studentské práce. Z nabízených souborů převyšovaly svou úrovní a provedením v závěru hodnocení tři tituly. Prvním je vzorný bibliofilský tisk Jan Skácel: Na koni páv a smrt a moruše v studánce voda živá (linoryty Pavla Dvorská, vydalo Kunštát PRO FUTURO o. p. s.). Další dva posuzované tituly jsou studentskými pracemi. Vysoké úrovně dosahuje práce Labyrint od Andrey Štoskové z Fakulty designu a umění Ladislava Sutnara Západočeské univerzity v Plzni (diplomová práce pod vedením Mikuláše Axmana). Druhá kniha nese název Piet Mondrian. Text, úprava a konstrukce Mathias Paclík, student 2. ročníku VOŠG a SPŠG Hellichova ul. v Praze. Pop-up kniha prostorově zachycuje motivy P. Mondriana. Tento titul byl vybrán pro ocenění Cenou V. Preissiga, protože tato výjimečně postavená kniha nejlépe naplňuje ideu, která rozhoduje při výběru ocenění.

This year’s choice of the Vojtěch Preissig Prize laureate was not easy. Representatives of the Association of Czech Bibliophiles (SČB) focused on the Bibliophile Books and Artists’ Books category and in the Student Works. At the end of the assessment, the standard and execution of three of the titles surpassed the collections offered. The first is a wonderful example of a bibliophile print of Jan Skácel’s Na koni páv a smrt a moruše v studánce voda živá (Peacock and death on horseback and mulberry live water in a well) (linocuts by Pavla Dvorská, published by Kunštát PRO FUTURO o.p.s). The next two titles are student works. Of high standard is Labyrint, the work of Andrea Štosková of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (a thesis under the guidance of Mikuláš Axman). The title of the second book is Piet Mondrian. The text, design and structure are by Mathias Paclík, a secondyear student of the College and Secondary School of Graphics (VOŠG and SPŠG) in Hellichova St. in Prague. The pop–up book spatially captures the motifs of P. Mondrian. This title was chosen for the V. Preissig Prize, because this exceptionally structured book best meets the idea which is decisive for making the choice for the prize.
